[edit] Summaries
Can someone who's been watching add summaries of the most recent two episodes to this article? I saw most of tonight's episode but haven't been watching the show so don't feel qualified to summarize. Thanks. Moncrief 06:36, Mar 26, 2004 (UTC)
- I have added a summary for week 11. The earlier weeks' summaries (esp. 5 to 10) also need work. I will try to get to them, but anybody should feel free to jump in. There are lengthy episode recaps and a succinct weekly tracker on the official site which should be helpful. Brooklyn Nellie (Nricardo) 07:58, Mar 26, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Episode Count
Last week's episode was just a recap and will not be counted in the episode count, which will include only episodes where candidates were eliminated.

[edit] Apprentice 2
Will it get its own page or be incorporated here? If here, perhaps we should being inserting "Season 1" labels. Any thoughts? Brooklyn Nellie (Nricardo) 02:15, Apr 1, 2004 (UTC) (forgot to sign when 1st posted)
- I think it should be incorporated into this article. - MattTM 07:32, 9 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Actually, I rescind my initial decision. The current season 1 information should be split off into a separate article, and the new season 2 information should be on a separate page as well. Then they can be linked to from a seasons section in this article. This one is getting too long. - MattTM 18:29, Aug 17, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Disapprove of incorrect revert
I protest about the following revert 17:46, 4 Apr 2005 Violetriga m (rv. - no evidence of it being aimed for under 30s) in the UK section. First it is an overbearing revert. No evidence? The show is the evidence. No one could seriously think that this material, with its constant swearing and mindless style, could be aimed at anyone over 18. (I said 30 to err on the overfair side.) Second no attempt was made to justify a revert/delete beforehand. Third, to mark the change as a minor edit is clearly not on. The revert was of a significant point, not of a grammer mistake. Fourth the stubborn change by the same editor of fall to autumn, is not really on. The article is on US based subject, there's no reason at all to change to UK usage.
Such unilateral behaviour is why I started the following page, against a user who causes waste of time and trouble for other editors, with her "what I say goes " attitude. [RfC]. Please support that page if you agree with me.Kreen
[edit] The Apprentice in Marketing Class
Hi. I was wondering about something. Since I'm in a marketing class, would it be appropriate to tape some episodes of The Apprentice so my class and I can watch them as part of a lesson?
- We're not lawyers here. You need to contact NBC. Nelson Ricardo 09:11, 25 September 2005 (UTC)
- My teacher hasn't asked me to tape an episode yet.
[edit] Criticism
I edited the criticism section which was entirely inaccurate. In fact, whoever wrote it must be hiding in a cave (or is probably an idiot)- the show is in no way a free commercial, the sponsors pay a hell of a lot of money to be featured on the show!!! Free? Yea right!
Here's how I see it: Donald talks to all of these companies. They have to pay him a lot of money to get some advertising on a big prime-time show. The teams have a challenge, the companies get advertising on a Thursday night (the biggest night on TV), and Donald gets more money. Everybody's happy!
- With last night's Randall-Rebecca fiasco, it definitely deserves a mention. The media is already criticizing the outcome. [1], [2]--Madchester 07:08, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
On a random note, "Infomercials are television commercials that run as long as a typical television program (roughly thirty minutes or an hour)." Hmm... Shawnc 12:38, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Seasons section
Umm, is it really necessary that we mention the winner of which season of Apprentice? Sure, there is a spoiler warning and a lot of us know who the winner was but is it necessary? I really think that section should merely mention the different editions so far and the wiki link. If the researcher wants to find out more, he could just go to wiki links of those seasons. And the same goes for each inidividual seasons providing links to the other seasons and mentioning the winner. --Destron Commander 13:52, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Loved it
Really liked the show in the first season. It was great. First of its kind I think. It was fresh and great.
Second season was also good.
But, by the 3rd and 4th seasons it got boring and kinda stale.

[edit] U.S. Ratings
I think there should definitely be a citation or two regarding the source(s) for the U.S. ratings of The APprentice. Ratings can be spinned so many ways, so IMO a good source is a must. Vikramsidhu 17:06, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- I included the citations for the ratings data of each season and its seasons' finales. Dechnique23 06:08, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Requested move
The Apprentice (US TV series) → The Apprentice — Bravedog (talk • contribs) unilaterally moved The Apprentice to The Apprentice (US TV series) without debate or discussion, then redirected The Apprentice to The Apprentice (UK). The redirect has since been undone, but an admin is needed to undo the move itself. Anþony 03:42, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
