Article assessment An assessment of this article took place along with other articles about 1980s comedy films during the week starting 6 March 2006.

The Baron is elsewhere (also in Wikipedia) called Münchhausen, or Muenchhausen, or Munchhausen; spelling with a single "h" is not original.
S.

The movie, however, is definitely The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, with one h and no umlaut. —Paul A 08:39, 3 Oct 2003 (UTC)

[edit] Possible Link to Katamari Damacy?

I heard that Robin Williams' character is very similar to The King of All Cosmos from Katamari Damacy. Is it possible that this film inspired the design of this game? Although I've never seen the film, I do know that there's a very strong Terry Gilliam influence in Katamari Damacy's cut scenes. They often seem as though they were lifted straight from a Monty Python cartoon! M.Neko

So, what is the film actually about? Synopsis please! pomegranate 11:31, Jan 3, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Jack Purvis

The link to Jack Purvis is inaccurate.

[edit] Numbers!

"absurdly over budget" just begs for some numbers - surely they're somewhere? --Andrew 05:31, May 13, 2005 (UTC)

Found them and put them in Jackliddle 19:40, 16 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Images

This article has far too many un-needed screenshots. This is a problem partly because fair-use copyright laws expect images to be used in moderation and on an as-needed basis, but more importantly because they are unnecessary and make the article look unprofessional: do we really need images scrolling down the page for three times the length of the article?

I'd recommend that one or two images are chosen, and the rest have the image deletion template, {{ifd}}, put on them. Otherwise someone else, like me, will do the deletion tagging and won't know which images ought to be kept. Asbestos 17:46, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
