The second hits compilation of Dire Straits, it was originally released as a one and two disc edition in August 1998, where the second disc contains live performances.

It was later rereleased together with a DVD in 2002. The DVD features all of the Disc One songs as music videos, and a short interview with Mark Knopfler about each song.
