Spider is a game developed by Boss Game Studios and available on the PlayStation platform.

The game was published by Eidos Interactive, publishers perhaps most famous for the Tomb Raider series.

Upon its release the game seemed to fly under the radar, and received limited critical response.

The game is now particularly difficult to attain, and has become somewhat of a rarity.

[edit] Premise

"The mind of a genius. The body of a spider. A mortally wounded scientist accidentally implants his consciousness in a nano-tech marvel-a cybernetic spider. Now shrunk to the size of a bug you must fight to stay alive."

[edit] Gameplay

As a player you take on the role of a cybernetic spider, within which the mind of its creator has been implanted. As the spider you must rove within full 3D environments of the Lab you were created in, thus many of the obstacles include lab sinks, acid, test tubes and primarily other cybernetic creatures hell bent on your demise.
