[edit] Story
The story starts with the hero, a guy who doesn't particularly care for anything, not even his sister. His name is Kirio Muji, and he doesn't have the best personality ever. Soon after the first few pages, an air raid is started, and Kirio being completely unfazed by the attack, decides to walk to his house. As they are going there, a robot comes walking out, looking for a house. As she stops at Kirio's house, Kirio screams out, stating that is his house and demanding an explanation for why she has shown up there. The robot girl flies at him he assumes, but then flies over his head stopping helicopter bullets from barraging him. Soon after, she dives into a forest and is lost. Kirio finds his mother, a high ranking officer of a private army named "Black Hare" for the island demanding the removal of the helicopters. As the forces leave, Kirio is told by his mother to go home with his sister. Blowing his sister off, he walks home himself. As he enters his yard, a young girl is in his yard, begins stating odd things to him (which can be interpreted from Muji's angle as sexual, although that is far from Q-Ko's intent), which he doesn't really pay attention to. As the girl faints, he brings her inside and gives her some food. A day later, his friends find out this girl is living in his house, and not just his house, but his closet. Later that day, as the two are standing on the roof of Kirio's house, a helicopter comes slamming into the roof. Aliens sent to find the girl are attacking the city. Immediately, the girl reveals she is the robot that was looking for his house the other day, and she is in disrepair. She needs Kirio to pilot her, and transforms into her robot form. Kirio not even thinking about what he's doing, or listening for an explanation, immediately boards the robot girl.
[edit] Characters
[edit] Main characters
Q-Ko: A robotic girl called a doll whose origins have not been fully revealed although she seems to be linked to Kirio's mother's organization. She is very serious about her mission (whatever it may actually be), but also seems to be content living normal life. She is a robot, but seems to be able to eat normal food, although noted, she doesn't chew.
Kirio Muji: The kind of guy who just drifts through life not turning his head in either direction. He doesn't like his sister much, and has two friends at school. Decided to house Q-Ko in his closet when she collapses but doesn't even bother to find out her name right away. Pilots Q-Ko in battle.
Mrs. Muji, "Mother", "Major": A high ranking officer for Black Hare, she is also a mother. She is the only one who is willing to pilot a robot looking much like a giant pot with arms, but very powerful. This has given her a higher standing.
[edit] Secondary characters
Furiko Muji: the sister of Kirio, she is very timid and stays away from her brother by all means necessary. she seems to suffer from a weak heart, actual disease unknown, and has attacks every so often which cause her to lose consciousness. She entered one of the robots, but her involvement is unclear.
Noru Momozawa: A friend of Kirio. He is like kirio to an extent, but is much kinder. He hangs around with Kirio, Q-Ko, and Tatsuta often.
Tatsuta Katsumoto: A very noble-minded boy, hanging around with a delinquent. He follows the rules much more than the other two.
Mei Kurozawa: seen with Kirio's gang, but not often. She tends to be angry at him when he treats his sister bad. She gets to pilot one of the dolls.
