Nogginknockers X: The Duel is a computer game.
This first Bloodlust Software game crafted after the departure of Icer Addis and the beginning of what has been christened 'the Click era' in Bloodlust Software history by fans. Not having a programmer to rely on Ethan Petty created the game using The Games Factory which was a controversial move amongst Bloodlust Software fans. While gorgeous in graphics and visuals, some considered its gameplay to be lacking. Most notably the inability to choose individual characters upset many fans.

[edit] Controversy
The backlash experienced after the release of Nogginknockers X: The Duel can best be summed up in the following e-mail:
"I still feel that NKX really blows goats. Haven't had time to download any other 'new' games yet, but I'm rather trepadacious. Something gives me the feeling that the Troma game will be much the same, "coded" in some Klik N' Play clone with horrid to no play balance. I may be wrong. But, dudes, seriously, WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED!? What the FUCK is with the entire 'fixed set of one on one matches' concept? I mean, shit, you want a game to be balanced, then make all the characters the same! You fucktards! And what the hell, there wasn't a single obvious tard in the game! It's obvious, Bloodlust Software has gone totally CORPORATE MAINSTREAM! Will Noggin Knockers Y be a Myst clone or something!? Good lord, make a game with REAL gore, or I'll be knocking at your door with my screwdriver showin' you the power of a tardwagon-ridin' homie! (and I DO ride the tardwagon, so I have some fucking experience.) Now get your god damned lazy asses back into shape and give me a game so full of gore that my family will disown me for enjoying it! I mean, for chrissakes, my MOM was playing Noggin Knockers X. My mom only plays lame games. Case closed." ~N
[edit] Playable Characters
- Klubbor — still obsessed with rocks and pounding things. Klubbor is the only character to have appeared in all three Nogginknockers games.
- Titlicka — Aztec warrior with an odd dialect.
- Mr. Tripps — demon tard wagon driver.
- The Wireman — a possessed Golem with a desire for children's souls.
- Hellbent — the chainsaw-wielding, top-hat wearing mortal enemy of Stumpy.
- Stumpy — leader of the Great Midget Rebellion.
- Shitman — Um. Is a description really necessary?
- Unther and Renthor — new leaders of the mutants created by Cannibal Ed Bujone
[edit] Non-playable Characters
(This list is incomplete.)
- Smegma — still a victim of Stumpy's bovine trap after all these years.
- Lenny — best friend of Buddy Tardinski.
- Buttliqua — a deity with a great deal of issues.
[edit] Trivia
Nogginknockers X: The Duel should not be considered Nogginknockers III. Though sequentially the third in the series, Ethan Petty dubbed the game an eXperiment in what he could do by himself and what Bloodlust Software would be without a dedicated programmer. Hence the Nogginknockers X title.
