Mega Man: The Power Battle (ロックマン:ザ・パワーバトル Rokkuman: Za Pawā Batoru) is a Mega Man Classic spin-off title and one of two arcade fighting game in the series. It was released in both Japan and North America in 1995. It was followed by a sequel, Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters, the following year. It was rereleased in 2004 as part of the Mega Man Anniversary Collection for PlayStation 2 and GameCube and Rockman Power Battle Fighters for PlayStation 2. In this game you could play as the characters Mega Man, Proto Man and Bass.

An interesting element is that it is basically three games in one, each having its own roster of six robot masters, from a specific span of games. The stage selection is roulette-style, and two more stages at the Wily fortress await after completing them.
