The Opera House, Somersworth, NH; from a c. 1908 postcard. Built in 1846 as a town meeting hall, it was remodeled in 1899 as an opera house. It was destroyed by fire in 1966 and razed for urban renewal, together with the row of Great Falls Mfg. Co. boarding houses beside it.
