Hunter: The Reckoning is a video game based on the role-playing game of the same name by White Wolf, Inc. It has spawned two sequels, Hunter: The Reckoning: Wayward and Hunter: The Reckoning: Redeemer. It is in many ways similar to Gauntlet in that up to four players play on the same sceen, cooperating using unique skills to defeat enemies.

Players act as human monster hunters combining melee, ranged and spell-driven attacks called "edges." It has single-player and multiplayer modes allowing up to four players.
[edit] Enemies
- Zombies - Appear as walking corpses. They ae the most common enemy in the game. They never appear alone, but are weak and slow.
- Police zombies - Appear as walking corpses in police uniforms. They are tougher than normal zombies and also use ranged weapons such as pistols, shotguns and flamethrowers.
- Skitters - Appear as a spider-like body with a human head. Their presence is announced by a skittering noise, hence the name. If a skitter gets too close, it explodes, taking anything in the area with it.
- Zombie Dogs - Appear as dog corpses. They are as strong as normal zombies but a lot faster.
- Vampires - Appear as pale women in leather. They are the strongest regular enemy in the game and usually show up in pairs. They can survive even the strongest of all attacks, are fast and use ranged weapons. However, they can be easily dispatched with a crossbow.
- Souls - Appear as translucent blue beings. They usually materialize offscreen and attack with ranged energy attacks.
- Gargoyles - Appear as large lion-shaped statues with wings. They are extremely strong and cannot be killed with ranged weapons.
- Mutated zombies - A mutated form of the zombies. Attacks from a distance with acid or strikes with their massive, mutated arm.
- Wolf spirits - They come later in the game. Serpents of the werewolf inside Arcady.
- Big mutant - You must fight him many times at the game. He cane attack with a shockwave or with his pure strongness. Very deadly enemies, but vulnerable to fire.
- Possessed teddy - Kaylies teddy if he is possessed by a evil ghost. He can attack with his powerful pranks or his deadly acid.
- Degenhardt - The high cheese of the vampires. He attacks with his strongness and his evil powers. Later in the game, he attacks annother time: As a evil deamon with over human powers.
- Dr. Hadrian - He is supported by big mutants and attacks with his mutated arm and his dark magic.
- Carpenter - Carpenter when he gets enraged because he hasn't got the chance to kill Dr. Hadrian. Now he wants to kill the hunters with his fast attacks. The only way to stop his regeneration is, to destroy the electric chair in the room.
- Werewolf - Arcady if he transforms into a werewolf. Once he was a murder, but the werewolf inside him makes him to this. He is fast and strong.
- Daemon - Degenhardt in his daemonic form. Attacks with evil powers and has two other daemons as his serpents.
