Hunter: The Reckoning: Wayward is the sequel to Hunter: The Reckoning for the PlayStation 2. It is based on the Hunter: The Reckoning role-playing game by White Wolf, Inc. It supports cooperative play for up to two players.

Hunter: The Reckoning: Wayward takes place after the events of Hunter: The Reckoning for Xbox and Gamecube in the city of Ashcroft. It follows the same four hunters: Deuce, Samantha, Father Cortez, and Kassandra, as they return to Ashcroft to finish what they started. Introduced in the game in the ever-infamous God_45, also known as Joshua, a hunter of the lost Creed, Wayward.
