1991: The Year Punk Broke is a 1992 documentary directed by Dave Markey showcasing a late 1991 European tour of a number of punk and alternative rock bands. It focuses primarily on Sonic Youth and Nirvana, but also gives attention to the bands Mudhoney, Dinosaur Jr, Babes in Toyland, Gumball and The Ramones.
