Thayer School of Engineering

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College is the first and oldest graduate engineering school in the United States. Founded in 1867 with a donation by General Sylvanus Thayer, Thayer offers a single unified undergraduate Department of Engineering Sciences as well as graduate programs with degrees through the doctorate.

In addition to either an A.B. and B.E. in engineering sciences, students can also obtain a professional accredited bachelor of engineering degree. At the graduate level it offers both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees as well as a Master of Engineering Management degree in collaboration with Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business.
