That Other Paper is an alt-weekly publication in Austin, Texas, that claims to be "Austin's Only Paper™" — an obvious falsehood that reveals the paper's humorous tone. The paper, which launched on November 22, 2006, is currently an online-only publication.
That Other Paper's founding members met in college while writing and editing the Texas Travesty, UT-Austin's student humor publication. That Other Paper is a publication of Four Kitchen Studios, a multimedia publishing, design, and web development firm in Austin, Texas.
That Other Paper editors Kristin Hillery and Todd Ross Nienkerk were interviewed by KUT 90.5 FM, Austin's public radio station; the story aired the day the paper's website launched.[1] ThatOtherPaper.com was featured on News 8 Austin's "Web Sightings" segment on November 25, 2006. [2]
