Thamizhaga Munnetra Munnani is a political party in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu launched by Tamil film star Sivaji Ganeshan in February 1988, when he left the Indian National Congress.
TMM was said to be pro-LTTE. During the IPKF intervention in Sri Lanka, TMM organized protests calling for the withdrawal of Indian troops.
In the elections of 1989 TMM sided with the Janaki Ramachandran faction of AIADMK and suffered a humiliating defeat. The same year TMM merged with Janata Dal.
