Thalía is the 2003 studio album and eleventh album by Mexican latin pop singer Thalía. It is the English version of her former Spanish studio album Thalía. The album is the first full album Thalía sung in English and has sold over 3 million copies worldwide.
"I Want You" was the most popular song of Thalía in the United States. Fat Joe helped Thalía and the song to become a Top 40 Billboard Hit. "I Want You" peaked number twenty-two in Billboard Hot 100 and number seven in the Mainstream chart. It is her only song that has charted within the Billboard Hot 100 to date. In Greece the song peaked number twenty-six in Top 50 singles sales. The Spanish version of the song, "Me Pones Sexy" was released for the Spanish-languaged audience and also perform quite well on the Latin Charts, peaking within the top ten of the Hot Latin Tracks at number nine.
Thalía spawned even more singles but all of them they failed to chart in the U.S. "Baby I'm in Love" was the second single of this album, but it didn't perform well, although some consider this song better than "I Want You". Its Spanish version "Alguien Real" did not even appear on any of the Latin Charts. "Don't Look Back" was released as a remix single and did well on Billboard Dance Charts. The fourth single "Cerca de Ti" performed even better than the Spanish version of "I Want You" on the Latin Charts, peaking at number one on the Hot Latin Tracks. "Closer to You", the English version of the song, was eventually cancelled.
