Thakur Sher Singh Parmar

Thakur Sher Singh Parmar (born 25 October 1966 Kalinga, Haryana, India) has been hailed as the 'MOST INFLUENTIAL THINKER IN THE 21st CENTURY '.[1] He is credited with having inspired the historical Indo-US Treaty of 18 July 2005.
He is a prominent Academician,Author ,Geographer ,Geopolitician ,Geostrategist, Philosopher and Poet.His prominent works include "KYAN WAQT GUJAR GAYAN ?" & "GEOGRAPHY,ECONOMICS AND ECONOMIC GEOGRAPHY"[[2]].He is a recipient of "Dr.Manibhai Desai Rashtraseva Puraskar" for year 2000 for exceptional contribution in the field of Hindi Literature, 2000.[[3]] His poems display a sincere deep yearning for Universal Peace ,Harmony ,Coexistence,Love , Religious Tolerance and Deep love for Mother India besides the deep concern for the down-trodden.
A former Indian customs officer , he is well known for THE BOLD SEIZURE OF ILLEGAL SILVER WORTH RUPEES 2.5 Crores effected by him under most adverse circumstances in the dead of the night in the face of a group of 25-30 smugglers at a remote sea beach on the Western Indian shores in 1991.The Indian Customs authorities used following expression about this splendid accomplishment :"...Shri Sher Singh Parmar then Inspector of Customs Harnai Port...booked a seizure case of smuggled silver worth Rs. 2.50 Crores ( Approx. ) displaying exemplary bravery , resourcefulness and boldness on 30-1-1991 at Anjarla - Sawani ( Taluka Dapoli , Dist. Ratnagiri ) a remote western Indian Sea-Shore."[[4]]
He has led a very simple and honest life.He comes across as a fine intellectual.He is deeply into spiritual activities .He has made several prophecies which have amazingly come true![[5]]
A visionary political geographer , he has changed the very notion of as to what constitutes the term geopolitics .He has defined the geopolitics in the 21st century in the following words “GEOPOLITICS OF 21st century must really be "GEO" in the sense that it must embrace the interests of the whole earth and not any isolated part of it!It must result into a win win situation to all the players involved in this dynamic play of GEOPOLITICS.” [[6]]
