Tha Realest

Jevon Jones, born on Nov. 10, 1974, in Dallas, Texas, is a rapper best known as Tha Realest and formerly Tenkamenin The Vigilante. He was formerly signed to Suge Knight's Death Row Records label. He is known for having a remarkably similar voice to that of deceased rapper Tupac Shakur. Songs of his have been mistaken for Tupac songs, even to the point of being used as 'evidence' that Shakur faked his death.
Jones signed to Death Row Records in 1996. He appeared on the soundtrack to film Gang Related under the name Tenkamenin (taken from an African king). In 1999 he appeared on Chronic 2000, alongside fellow Death Row rappers Swoop G and Lil C-Style. He would team up with them again on Death Row's Too Gangsta 4 Radio compilation, on the tracks Fuck Dre and Fuck Hollywood.
Tha Realest left Death Row Records in 2005 [1]. He released his debut album, Witness Tha Realest on his independent label Omerta Entertainment, under distributer Tommy Boy Records in 2005.
