Talk:TGIF
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I've removed the {disambig} tag, since this page only really discusses one concept and its various spin-offs.
However, unsurprisingly, 'TGIF' is an acronym with several alternative meanings, (see [1]). However I'm not sure any of these are in common use. If this isn't the case, this page might become a disambig between these alternative acronyms, in which case it would be best to move most of this page to Thank God It's Friday and move the 78 movie to Thank God It's Friday (film). -- Solipsist 10:29, 27 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Latin version
Is this a joke? It sounds like an invention of one of those Latin for All Occasions books. If there's any evidence people really did say this, it should be expanded to clearify. Pimlottc 22:08, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
- I also thought it was out of place. There really can't be any relevant connection between Latin and TGIF, so its probably rubbish. -- Solipsist 22:27, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
