Tey

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tey was the wife of Kheperkheprure Ay (occasionally "Aya"), who was a pharaoh of Ancient Egypt's 18th dynasty. According to some accounts, Ay and Tey were the parents of Nefertiti and Mutnedjmet.

[edit] Possible historical context

Ahmed Osman identifies her as Yoheved[citation needed], the mother of Moses, saying perhaps after Ay's previous wife's death and Amram's death or divorce, they were married, which many Jewish legends tell of[citation needed].
