Teshik-Tash

Teshik-Tash is an archaeological site in Uzbekistan in central Asia, and the easternmost site to contain remains of the Neanderthal people. The inhabitants were "Transition Neanderthals" rather than "Classic Neanderthals." The site includes the grave of a Neanderthal child, supplied with funerary offerings of beautiful Ibex horns.
