Terry L. Anderson

Terry L. Anderson is the Executive Director of the Property and Environment Research Center in Bozeman, Montana, the John and Jean DeNault Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, and professor emeritus at Montana State University.
His work helped launch the idea of free-market environmentalism and has prompted public debate over the balance between markets and government in managing natural resources.
Anderson received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Washington in 1972 and was awarded a Fulbright Research Fellowship to Canterbury University.
