Terri Farley

Well-known author Terri Farley lives in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains with her journalist husband, two children and pets, but still longs for the California beaches where she grew up. She's worked as a waitress, journalist and teacher and now writes full-time. She is the author of Seven Tears into the Sea, The Phantom Stallion series for young readers and many nonfiction magazine articles.
Terri Farley has taught high school, middle school and college freshman English for much of her life. At San José State University, she earned a B.A. and Secondary teaching credential in English, then completed a Master's degree in Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno. She has taught remedial reading in an inner-city school in Los Angeles, International Baccalaureate English in Reno, Nevada, and almost everything in between, including a semester helping lawyers write. She holds memberships in the National Council of Teachers of English, International Reading Association and the National Education Association.
The 24th book in the Phantom Stallion series which is also the last, is scheduled to come out in November 2006. The first book in another series is coming out early 2007. Terri has said that Phantom Stallion fans will like this series and to look for a character from the Phantom Stallion books.
