Terra Firma Capital Partners

Terra Firma Capital Partners are a private equity firm based in London, UK. It was formed as a spin-off company from Nomura's Principal Finance Group in 1994 by Guy Hands and has invested £4.7 billion since its creation. Its first investments were in waste management and ex-Ministry of Defence housing but has since moved into leisure (pub & hotel ownership and cinemas) and transport, as well as other areas.
