Teror is a Canarian municipality in the northern portion of the island of Gran Canaria in the Las Palmas province in the Canary Islands. 8 September is a local festivity celebrating Virgo del Pino (virgin of the pine).
Mineral water is an important product of Teror; other economic activity is based on agriculture and crafts.
The municipality is named after the town of Teror.
