Terence Morris

Terence Darea Morris (born January 11, 1979 in Frederick, Maryland) is a professional basketball player currently with the Orlando Magic of the NBA. A 6'9" forward from the University of Maryland, College Park, he was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the 34th pick of the 2001 NBA Draft. His draft rights were traded to the Houston Rockets, with whom he played two seasons (2001-2003). He then spent the 2003-2004 season in the NBDL, and he played one season with Apollon Patras of Greece before signing with the Magic in September 2005 and earning a roster spot for the remainder of the season.

Terence played his high school basketball for Governor Thomas Johnson High School in Frederick, Maryland; leading the TJ Patriots to the Maryland Class 3A state title as a senior in 1997.
