Teradacho Station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
JR Teradacho Station (JR 寺田町駅) is one of the stations of the JR Ōsaka-kanjōsen (大阪環状線), also known as the JR West Osaka Loop Line. This station serves the Teradacho neighborhood of Tennoji-ku and Ikuno-ku. This station is well known for its bicycle parking problem, and the bicycle parking area was overhauled in April 2006. Employees of the West Japan Railway Company wait outside in the morning on business days and help passengers find a place to park their bicycle, as well as tidy up the area. The station often leaves tags on bicycles asking residents to please walk instead of riding their bicycles if they live close to the station.
This station is relatively small, but it boasts a convenience store inside the station where you can purchase goods with an ICOCA railway pass.
