Tepelenë District

The District of Tepelenë (Albanian: Rrethi i Tepelenës) is one of the thirty-six districts of Albania. It has a population of 32,000 (2004 estimate), and an area of 817 km². It is in the south of the country, and its capital is Tepelenë (Turkish: Tepedelen, in English sometimes spelled Tepeleni). Other places in this district include Memaliaj.

Tepelenë is well known as a source of reliable bottled water.
