[edit] Thanks
Thanks. If you want, I can organize yours better, but not tonight. Maybe in a few days. I'm about to go to sleep. Also, you might want to start making sure you listen to the image tag bot up above so that you don't get blocked for not listening. I don't ever upload images, so I don't really know how to do it, but you probably should. The Ungovernable Force 05:15, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] West Coast Krew
I'm sorry, joke articles can't stay, nor can articles about school groups. Try Uncyclopedia. They have a section for school jokes that might suit. -- sannse (talk) 19:49, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Confused
It seems that you have systematically gone through many pages that I have added images, with both correct copyright tags and correct source creation info, and deleted their information. You know leave me with many images begging copyright status and sources, when I had taken care of that in the first place. Please respond on what I must do. Thank you, User:Tenaciousd
- Hello, Tenaciosd. The image source is supposed to be the origin of the image. That is, a url for the original place of that image, probably, from the copyright owner website (but not necessarily). I some cases, the url you provided as sources were just blog, fansites, etc. reproducing the images without any attibuttion to the real author/copyright-owner. This, unfortunately, is not acceptable.
- When tagging some image witch {{Promotional}}, we need to provide url from where the image is being promotionally being distributed, not just some site using this image. Some sites, like imdb for instance, have private deals with some image providers, and as a consequence, not all promotional images on imdb are intended for wild distributtion.
- But notice that in some case, the image was just a plain copyright infringement. Like Image:Mikewhite.jpg. According to the text on the "Terms and Conditions" link on the source website, that image (nor any other in the site) can't be used without explicit permssion).
- If you do have any questions or objections in some specific image, don't be shy do ask me. Keep on the good work. Best regards, --Abu Badali 05:17, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Pettibonraymond.gif
Hi Tenaciousd. I really like the image of Raymond Pettibon you found. Have you confirmed that this is, in fact, a promotional image, though? It's not clear to me from the 2ndthought.net website that the image is promotional, or what their relationship to the artist is. Pburka 19:20, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
- RE: You bring up a good quesiton. I know it is soley on that site, and I believe the Promotional tag would fit right. However, I could be wrong. If you feel a different tag is more suitable please tell me or feel free to add it yourself. Tenaciousd
- I'm afraid that there is no good tag for it. Without evidence to the contrary, we must assume that the image is protected by copyright and is not intended as a promotional image. It might be possible to contact Pettibon's agent to see if they can provide an image which could be used on Wikipedia, either under some free license or as a fair use image. [edit] Fair use images on user space
You may want to know that, according to item #9 on Wikipedia:Fair_use#Policy, we can't claim fair use for images on user space. I notived your user page has some of these images. --Abu Badali 12:31, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] ...
I know your right about the fair use on user pages issue, but could ya give it a rest. Does it really matter? "...and that the user this page belongs to may have no personal affiliation with any site other than Wikipedia itself." Doesn't this line from the user page template pretty much O.K it? If not, and if you wont have it, I will remove the images. Tenaciousd 03:30, 1 August 2006 (UTC)Tenaciousd
- It's a policy. The policy matters and needs no rest. About this line, I think it has anything to do with this affair. I believe it's itended for the case your user page is copied into another website, mirroing Wikipedia (like this). It says you're personally affiliatted to Wikipedia but not to that site. --Abu Badali 05:21, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Punk music
Whats up? Hi, I'm trying to gather some more interest and support for the Wikipedia:WikiProject Punk music. Please check out the topics and lets get our WikiProject to function better. I've taken an interest in the Wikipedia:WikiProject hip hop and I consider that WikiProject to be better developed. Hopefully we can all work together to improve articles relating to punk. Also, I am trying to gather support and opinions concerning the punk house article and specifically the Theta Beta Potata article which is currently in AfD (x2) at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Theta Beta Potata (second nomination). Please check it out and voice your opinion. Xsxex 06:55, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Eva Green
Your changes to Eva Green were reverted. The comment which you removed, asking you not to insert an image which violated WP:FUC, was placed there to stop blatant violations of WP:FUC such as the one you made by adding an image to the page which is not freely-licensed. The image page itself also specifically notes that it may not be used solely to depict Eva Green. Please be more careful to avoid violations of Wikipedia image copyright and fair-use policies in the future. --Yamla 16:40, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
