[edit] Biography

Teneniel chanced upon Luke Skywalker and Prince Isolder, who were looking for the stranded Han Solo and Leia Organa. Amazed that Luke could use the Force, she demanded they marry. After run ins with Zsinj and the Nightsisters, however, she fell in love with Isolder and married him, and in turn eventually became the Queen Mother of Hapes. Together they had one child, Tenel Ka.

During the Yuuzhan Vong invasion, Leia Organa went to Teneniel to gain the support of their Navy on the planet Fondor. Shortly into the battle, the Centerpoint Station was maned improperly and fired. The shot killed two thirds of the Hapan Fleet along with half of the Yuuzhan Vong fleet assembled at Fondor. The blast from the explosion caused Teneniel to miscarry the unborn child she was carrying in the hopes of providing an heir to the throne other than Tenal Ka who had no interest in the position. She went into a deep depression.

Former Queen Mother Ta'a Chume wanted a more youthful, vigorous leader, and so plotted to kill Teneniel and replace her with Jaina Solo. After Jaina came to grips with the dark side, she realized Chume's plan. She rushed to Teneniel, only to find her already poisoned. After Teneniel's death, Tenel Ka put her personal wishes to stay out of politics aside and accepted her birthright as queen mother of the Hapan Consortium. She used the Hapan fleet that her mother, Teneniel, had rebuilt and she scored her first victory against the approaching Yuuzhan Vong.
