TEN SPORTS is a sports channel, which is widely broad casted in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Hong Kong, India, Middle East, Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka
TEN Sports is the short name of Taj Entertainment Network Sports. They regularly broadcast Test cricket, one-day international cricket, field hockey and professional wrestling, a staple of the channel's programming. Recently, TEN Sports has been in legal struggles with DoorDarshan over the rights to usually broadcast Test and ODI cricket when Pakistan tours in India. TEN Sports is the dominant sports channel in Pakistan. It currently has the exclusive rights to the UEFA Champions League for the next three seasons in India. With this the channel hopes to increase its viewership in the country over its rival ESPN Star Sports, which had previously held the rights for the tournament.
On the 12th of November 2006, Zee Telefilms acquired 50% control of Taj Television Ltd. for $57 million.
