[edit] AfD b0rking pages with template
Any way we can discuss the AfD without breaking the Template used in the articles and without losing their placement in those articles until the AfD is resolved? Suryadas 00:52, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- I disagree. I've removed the Cyborg template tag from all the articles it had been added to. --Loremaster 01:19, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- If the AfD resolves with a Keep, how would you then go back and recover the use of the template on those pages? From personal memory? Suryadas 01:21, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- Putting aside that fact that there are some articles (specifically the biographical ones) where adding such a template was inappropriate, the Template:Cyborg page itself can serve as a reminder. --Loremaster 01:27, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- Look at the template for Libertarianism. That's applied to biographies such as Murray Rothbard, although not explicitly linked within the template itself. How do you account for this disparity in template application criteria? Suryadas 02:03, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
