Telugu people are an ethnic group primarily located in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India and neighbouring areas like Pondicherry, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Chattisgarh and Orissa (the areas bordering Andhra Pradesh).
Many have emigrated to countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Mauritius, Fiji, Réunion and Malaysia.
