Telegatto

Telegatto is an Italian television award first given out in 1971 following the contest "Gran Premio internazionale dello Spettacolo", sposored by the weekly magazine Tv, Sorrisi e Canzoni and aired on canale 5. The prize is a golden cat statue named Oscar with the network's initials on his face. It was ispired by a cartoon on the television series Super Classifica Show, a cult show in the 1980s and early 1990s.
