Teledrama

Teledrama or teleserye are the local names of Philippine produced soap operas in the Philippines. They can have different sub-genres; they could be melodramatic, fantasy themed (fantaserye or telefantasya), action or they could be comedy (kwelanovela). Teledrama is name given to GMA Network created series, and teleserye is name for the ABS-CBN created series.
