Telecommuter

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Telecommuters spend at least part of their workday at home, using computers or other telecommunications equipment. Most telecommuters live on the fringe of large cities and in the suburbs and exurbs, in what is known as the "two-hour telecommuting ring". Nowadays, they are being used by almost every office and organization. They are especially useful because they help one to work and do office stuff whilst sitting at home or any far away distance. Nevertheless, their main disadvantage is that your boss cannot keep a full-time eye on you, as he can easliy do that if you work at the office in his presence! Another disadvantage is, again regarding office work, is that the boss or some other colleague might be ringing you for some urgent work, but you are fast asleep or not available, as most people who use the telecommuting method have their own timings on everything.
