TeleAsty (ΤΗΛΕΑΣΤΥ in Greek) is a local Greek channel that is available in most major cities as well as villages and towns and is owned by Georgios Karatzaferis, a right-wing politician in Greece. Its informative and entertainment value is questionable, as it shows small, insignificant footage highly uninteresting to most people. With no text option and a viewership of less than 5,000 monthly, the Greek government has threatened to shut it down if it does not improve viewership.
