What is the source for Tekkaman being the series that spawned the "robot series" fad in the United States of the 1980s? According to the Internet Movie Database the series was only released in the States in September, 1985. Following Challenge of the GoBots, Voltron, The Transformers (TV series) and Robotech (TV series) rather than preceeding them. User:Dimadick
