Ted Spencer

Ted Spencer is the 2nd men's college lacrosse head coach for the Fairfield University Stags. Spencer has lead the Stags to great success including 2 NCAA Tournament Appearances (2003 and 2006), 2 Great Western Lacrosse League Championships (2003 and 2005), 2 ECAC Tournament Championships (1998 and 1999), 3 MAAC Championships (1996, 1997 and 1998). He also has developed 2 All-Americans, 18 All-New England selections and 8 Academic All-New England selections.
Coach Spencer's peers recognized his success at Fairfield by selecting him the 2005 GWLL Coach of the Year, 2002 GWLL Coach of the Year and 1996 MAAC Coach of the Year.
He is a 1985 graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst where he was a long-pole defensive midfielder for the men's lacrosse team.
Coach Spencer resides in Fairfield, Conn., with his wife, Denise, and their children, Ryan-Elizabeth, Ben, and Devin.
