I don't beileve we can assume Ted Tonk's first name is Theodore any more than we can assume Ginny Weasley's first name is Virginia -- that turned out to be wrong.

I agree; I have a friend called Ted and it's short for "Edward". Rosemary Amey 16:30, 24 Jul 2004 (UTC)
