[edit] Why Me?

For over 20 years, I’ve owned and managed small businesses.  As with any small business, everyone must wear many hats.  Because I always wanted my companies to have the latest technical edge, I often wore the “tech guy” hat.  Over the years I have written programs, developed applications, installed networks, recovered data, replaced hardware, put out RFP’s for infrastructure software, and even written a letter or two in WordPerfect on a mono-chrome monitor (I resisted Word for years).

Today, my experience can help you by making technology work the way you need it to.  I understand the needs and challenges of small business, as well as the desire for individuals to have reliable technology in their homes.

My goal is to “Make it easy!”

[edit] Philosophy

Technology is a part of our lives whether we like it or not. Contrary to what many in the technology field think, most people don't want to know how many bits there are in a byte!  Not to mention the meanings of WYSIWYG, WAN, SMTP, BIOS, SCSI, or DIMM!

I focus on your specific needs and make technology work for you the way it ought to.  I am skilled in all major operating systems (Linux, Windows, MacOS) and will help you to determine the right solution to fit your needs.

[edit]
My "Tech-holistic" point of view:

Treating the symptoms and ignoring the underlying problem can allow any problem to fester. Computers are very prone to this type of behavior, and while I love solving problems, it frustrates me if I have to solve the same problem twice. I will offer a solution only after carefully reviewing the entire situation.
