The Tecopa pupfish, Cyprinodon nevadensis calidae, of the family Cyprinodontidae) was found in 1948 in the Tecopa Hot Springs in California. By 1970 the fish was officially listed as extinct. They were a very colorful blue, purple, yellow and green.
