[edit] V2 Rockets and Red Alert
Command and Conquer: Red Alert is an Altnerative World game. It means historyu is different from our reality, so historical fact is not really the case here. Only what occurs in the game or manual matters. If the game manual and game itself says it's a V-2 Launcher, it's a V-2 Rocket laucher. --Eldarone 01:06, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yes I'm aware of that. But the names "V2" and "V3" do not fit in this alternate universe. The rockets were developed by Germany as a last-ditch effort to frighten Britain out of the war, and in the Red Alert universe, in which Germany does not start a war, Germany would not have developed military rockets, as there would be no need to develop emergency military rockets during peacetime. I'm not arguing with what the manual says, I'm simply saying the article should state the erroneous titles of "V2" and "V3". Rusty2005 01:10, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

- Yes, I'm familar with the history of the Retailation weapons, and how strange it is for the Soviets to use the German desingnations (or for that matter why they're still designated Vergeltungswaffe, since Hitler or Germany didn't use them in war). However, since we don't know he exact details of the Red Alert timeline, the missles for all intents and purposes are called V2 and V3. We can;t specualte, and the best we can do is state the oddity of the rocket's desingantion considering the Red Alert timeline. --Eldarone 01:16, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
