Warping is a Starcraft way of travelling through faster than light speeds. The three races (Terran, Protoss, Zerg) have different ways of doing it. The Terran Battlecruiser,their capitol ship, has a warp engine installed, managed by Warp Rats. The Battlecruiser can enter and exit Warpspace in a planet's atmosphere with pinpoint accuracy. Protoss The protoss Carriers can warp through tearing a hole in Warp Space and getting into it. This way is much different from the Terran Battlecruiser, but less accurate. Zerg The Zerg Overmind has the ability to create a warp rift, allowing all its minions to go into it.
