Teacher (Japanese: 「センセイ」 - Sensei) is episode 27 of the Fullmetal Alchemist TV series originally aired 2004-03-27.
Izumi Curtis has finally caught up with her wayward protégés, Edward and Alphonse. They have every reason to fear her. First, because she's furious Ed became a "dog of the military" with the alchemy she taught him; second, they went against her teachings when they attempted to resurrect their mother through human transmutation. Colonel Mustang's transfer back to Central has been finalized, and he arranges to take several subordinates with him: Fuery, Breda, Havoc, Hawkeye, and Falman. In flashback, we see how Ed and Al convinced Izumi to take them on as apprentices. After arriving in Dublith, Izumi's home town, she learns from the brothers the shameful truth of how they lost body and limb.
