'Tea Society of a Witch' is an interactive anime DVD, part of Japanese bishōjo game Majo no Ochakai (魔女のお茶会?) by FrontWing. The English language version is a dvd game, while the original Japanese version was for PC (and was much more involved, with at least twice as many endings). The main character is a young high school boy who meets a couple of witches. Depending on the choices made throughout the game, different endings can be achieved. An example of such a choice is the character who the player chooses to talk to each morning. The three girls that can be talked to each day are Nee, Drill, and Manamu.

[edit] Plot

Long ago, there was a world in which mages and humans lived in harmony. Deep contrasts in their two cultures, however, caused differences that could not be overcome between the two races. The humans feared the great power of the mages, and hunted them, trying to erase their kind from earth. Despairingly, the mages sought refuge and created a world of magic for them to live in. In this way, the mages faded from the Earth, and all contact between the two peoples ceased. Each continued on their own paths.

A few hundred years later the mages are hopeful that, once again, their races may live in harmony. In the hope of finding a way to solve their differences, the mages send out their young acolytes for training in the world of humans. If the younger generations of the two peoples can find a way of connecting, perhaps the acolytes could gain important knowledge, and bring it home with them. This year three young witches will go into the human world...

Two of them are elite, the third a drop-out. Can they reunite the two peoples?
