The game originally only ran on a real hardware Amiga (Amiga Real Machine). It would not run on any AVM. The game documentation states that after porting various pieces of code to WinUAE that then the game began to work multiplatformically.
That is why the word "port" had been in the article. I removed the word "port" because it was confusing Mdwh.
To Mdwh: You seem to be unfamiliar with Amiga Virtual Machines (AVMs). You need to realize that there has never been any AVM that is 100% compatible to a Amiga Real Machine (ARM). For some software this is not a problem. For other software things must be ported.
For some AVMs such as Amithlon or AmigaXL, porting a normal real Amiga game requires a huge amount of porting work.
Porting to WinUAE typically requires no porting work or a small amount.
