Roc-A-Fella Presents: Teairra Mari (2005) |
Second Round (2006) |
Roc-A-Fella Records Presents: Teairra Marí is the debut album from the Roc-A-Fella recording artist Teairra Mari. The album debuted in the top five selling 69,000 copies in the first week. The first single from the album was "Make Her Feel Good", which soon became the "female anthem of the year". "Make Her Feel Good" got decent airplay and made its way to the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 peaking at #35. The video got very little play on MTV, but strong play on BET. The single did not debut on TRL after it's premiere. But it did debut on BET's 106 & Park and peaked at #2. Later on August 2nd, the album was released. The second single "No Daddy" was soon released. The Hip-Hop influenced track soon gained a lot of votes on MTV's TRL, peaking at the #4 spot. The song is Teairra's most recognizable song to date, but other than videoplay the song failed to climb most of the charts, although it did peak at a low #84 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart. "Phone Booth" was released as an airplay only 3rd single in late 2005. The album has sold over 300,000+ units to date.
