Taylor Nelson Sofres plc (TNS) is one of the largest market research organisations in the world. Based in London, United Kingdom, TNS has offices in over 70 countries and employs over 13,000 staff worldwide. The company operates mainly in the following industries; automotive, consumer, consumer panels (Worldpanel), finance, healthcare, internet, television and radio audience measurement and polling. [1]

TNS has worldwide rights to the Conversion Model™ the world's leading measure of commitment.[citation needed] TNS has recently rebranded its various online panels under the WorldPanel™ brand.

Asiapanel operates under the WorldPanel brand in the Asia Pacific Ragion. The Asiapanel™ network - delivers quality continuous panel insights to the FMCG market in China, Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam, The Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia. Asiapanel is an aspect of Worldpanel which delivers continuous panel consumer insights to major FMCG clients globally.

TNS was formed through the merger of several market research companies, primarally Intersearch (established 1960), AGB (1962), Sofres (1963), FSA (1964) and Taylor Nelson (1965). In 1992 Taylor Nelson merged with AGB. Sofres merged with FSA in 1995 and acquired Intersearch in 1997. Later in 1997 Sofres merged with Taylor Nelson AGB to form Taylor Nelson Sofres. [2]

TNS acquired NFO WorldGroup from The Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc. in 2003. [3]
