Talk:Taurus (manufacturer)

Most, if not all of this article appears to have been copied verbatim from the company website (http://www.taurususa.com/company/history.cfm). Does anyone know if Taurus USA themself might have posted this article? Just in case I deleted all the infringing material. Sbard 09:37, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
It doesn't look like Taurus had anything to do with it. The user who did start it, has contributed to several other articles, before and after this one. The user in question, 67.176.254.41 appears to be anonymous.Al Lowe 22:59, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Good Gun Maker
A long time Smith & Wesson copier, they really hit the mark when they marketed their version of the Beretta Model 92. I bought a Taurus PT-92AFS back in 1992. I still have it, and it is one fine pistol. I recently bought their model PT-911, a medium frame 9mm semi-auto, and it too is a fine pistol. I use it for Concealed carry about 75% of the time. Since the AWB sunset, it also has a 15 round capacity magazine. Taurus is now introducing their version of the world famous model 1911 .45ACP auto-pistol. It looks to be a world beater as well. I suppose only time will tell. Al Lowe 00:02, 19 July 2005 (UTC)
