Tasman Motorsport is a V8 Supercar racing team. It was formed in 2004 out of what was the Lansvale Racing Team. The Team Principal is Kevin Murphy. The current drivers are Jason Richards and Andrew Jones.
Tasman motorsport entered the series in 2004, set up by Kevin Murphy (father of Greg Murphy, a driver in the series), with a single Holden VX Commodore driven by Jason Richards.
2005 saw the team upgrade to a two car operation and move to a new factory near Melbourne, from their previous site in Sydney. With Dodo the naming sponsor of the team, both Jason Richards, and the second driver, Jamie Whincup, had some very good placings including 3rd at the Sandown 500 and 2nd in the Bathurst 1000.
2006 sees the team ready for its first race with, with the cars, driven this year by Jason Richards and Andrew Jones, showing some very good speed. Tasman Motorsport won their first V8 race at Winton Motor Raceway in June 2006 behind the wheel of Jason Richards in the second race that was reverse grid, Also at the same event the team got their best quailifying result of 3rd on the grid.
